Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties across the office premises, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash disposal
- Handle janitorial tasks with attention to sanitation standards and safety protocols
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and vacuum cleaners to maintain cleanliness and floor care excellence
- Assist with light maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and ensuring facilities are well-kept
- Support with heavy lifting and manual handling of supplies or furniture following safe lifting practices
- Ensure proper handling of chemical agents used for cleaning by adhering to chemical handling safety procedures
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas,
restrooms, and workspaces while following sanitation guidelines
Qualifications
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is highly valued
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment operation, including floor buffers and industrial cleaning tools
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to chemical handling and heavy lifting practices
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently in a busy environment
- Strong work ethic with a focus on cleanliness, safety, and customer service skills
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and maintain a high standard of hygiene and sanitation standards
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning is advantageous
