Senior Academic Counsellor

Job Overview:
Seeking a motivated and student-focused Academic Counsellor to join our dynamic admissions and counselling team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding prospective students, understanding their academic and career goals, providing suitable course recommendations, and supporting them throughout the admission process. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for helping students, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Understand students' educational interests, goals, and concerns and recommend suitable programs.
- Generate and follow up on prospective student leads through calls, networking, social media, and other channels.
- Schedule and conduct counselling sessions with prospective students.
- Explain course details, eligibility criteria, admission procedures, fees, and career opportunities.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective students and assist them through the admission process.
- Address student and parent queries, concerns, and objections professionally.




- Achieve individual and team counselling/admission targets.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and follow-ups.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in academic counselling, admissions, telecalling, customer service, or a related field .
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office and basic computer applications.
- Strong interpersonal and counselling skills.
