Job Responsibilities : Specific to the role of Complex Service Request Engineer, responsibilities may\r\ninclude:\r\no Ensure accurate execution of documented and approved requests in\r\ncustomers’ production environments\r\no Adhere to and enforce Change Management processes and policies of Cisco\r\nand customers\r\no Support Change Managers with technical input on Change Advisory Board\r\n(CAB) meetings, whether internal and external\r\no Take all appropriate steps to reduce risk of impact to customers’ production\r\nenvironment due to execution of approved changes\r\no Validate service request execution process prior to production\r\nimplementation\r\no Conduct post-change QA testing to validate successful service request\r\ncompletion and to reduce risk of service impacting events resulting from the\r\nchange.\r\no Serve as first point of escalation for failed service requests/changes; conduct\r\nchange backouts to the point of pre-change baseline\r\no Provide continual communication to stakeholders before, during and after\r\nexecution of approved service requests

Skill Requirement : o Associate (2-year) or bachelor (4-year) level university degree or equivalent\r\nin a technical discipline\r\no 5-10 years of experience in a Network Operations Centre or Technical\r\nAssistance Centre or in an Implementation role\r\no Robust technical experience with technologies such as Cisco Unified\r\nCommunications Manager, Multi Services, Gateways, Cisco Unity Connection,\r\nJabber, Cisco Unified Presence, SME, Virtualization, IP Telephony protocols\r\nlike SIP, H323, MGCP, RTP, RTCP, VXML, and different Codecs etc.\r\no Expertise in some technologies if not all likeCisco Unified\r\nCommunications Manager, Multi Services, Gateways, Cisco Unity\r\nConnection, Telepresence, Cisco Meeting Server, Jabber, Cisco\r\nUnified Presence, SME, Virtualization, IP Telephony Good\r\nunderstanding on Cisco Expressways, Jabber MRA.
