Job Description – Bar Captain

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the bar and ensure smooth service.
- Lead and guide bartenders and bar stewards to deliver excellent guest service.
- Ensure beverages are prepared and served according to company standards.
- Monitor bar stock, maintain inventory, and coordinate timely replenishment.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of beverages and bar supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the bar area.
- Verify guest age where required and ensure responsible service practices.
- Handle guest queries and resolve complaints professionally.
- Coordinate with the restaurant and kitchen teams for seamless service.
- Assist in preparing daily sales reports and monitor bar consumption.




- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations related to bar operations.

Requirements

- 3 years of experience in bar operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Positive knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and bar service.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage inventory and minimize wastage.
- Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Candidates with experience in hotels, restaurants, or hospitality establishments will be preferred.

Salary: As per company standards and experience.
