​Job Overview:

​Shining Events is looking for an experienced Accountant to manage complete financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Vyapar Software and hands-on experience handling procurement tracking, daily petty cash, vendor billing, client invoicing, and tax compliance.

​Key Responsibilities:

​1. Core Accounting & Software Management:

​Maintain 100% daily accounting records using Vyapar Software (or equivalent accounting platforms).

​Handle complete Payment In (client receipts) and Payment Out (vendor/staff disbursements).

​Track and reconcile client payments with TDS deductions accurately in the system.

​2. Purchase Tracking, Billing & Documentation:

​Track all purchase orders, purchase bills, and inventory/material entries to ensure correct quantities and agreed prices.

​Prepare and issue Proforma Invoices (PI), Tax Invoices, Credit Notes, and Debit Notes.

​Verify, code, and record all Vendor Bills, purchase receipts, and sub-contractor invoices before processing payments.

​3. Cash, Staff & On-Site Expense Management:

​Manage Petty Cash for daily office and in office event operations.

​Process and verify staff expenses, including fuel allowances,



travel costs, and local transport.

​Record direct cash expenses such as daily labor payments, loading/unloading charges, and temporary event setups.

​4. Tax & Regulatory Compliance:

​Ensure complete GST compliance (GST calculation, invoice tagging, and record-keeping for filing).

​Calculate and process payments after deducting applicable TDS on vendor/contractor bills.

​Track client TDS certificates (Form 16A) and reconcile tax ledgers.

​Requirements & Qualifications:

​Software Skills: Hands-on proficiency in Vyapar Software (mandatory/preferred), Tally, or similar tools. Strong knowledge of MS Excel.

​Accounting Knowledge: Thorough understanding of purchase tracking, double-entry bookkeeping, GST rules, TDS rates, and financial reconciliation.

​Experience: 2–4 years in full-charge accounting (experience in event management, media, or service industries with heavy field cash flow is preferred).

​Skills: Excellent numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple event budgets simultaneously.
