About the Role
We are looking for a Forward Deploy Engineer with 10+ years of full stack experience across Java, React, and AI to work directly embedded within client environments. You will combine deep technical expertise in Java backend engineering, React frontend development, and AI / GenAI integration — acting as the technical face of the organisation with clients. This is a rare combination of hands-on engineering excellence and strong client engagement skills — you will write production code, design solutions, and build trusted technical relationships with client engineering teams simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

- Work embedded within client environments — delivering hands-on Java, React, and AI engineering solutions directly alongside client engineering teams.
- Design and develop scalable Java microservices and REST APIs using Spring Boot applying clean architecture and SOLID principles.
- Build high-performance React.js frontend applications using TypeScript, Redux, and modern JavaScript delivering exceptional user experiences.
- Design and integrate AI / GenAI solutions — RAG pipelines, LLM integrations, agentic workflows, and AI-powered features — into enterprise Java and React applications.
- Own end-to-end feature delivery across backend, frontend, and AI layers — from architecture design through to production deployment.
- Act as the primary technical interface with client stakeholders — engaging engineering leads, architects, and CTOs with confidence, credibility, and technical authority.
- Identify and articulate client technical challenges — rapidly prototyping and delivering solutions that demonstrate immediate business value.




- Conduct architecture reviews and technical assessments within client environments — providing clear, actionable recommendations aligned to client technology strategy.
- Collaborate with internal product and engineering teams — feeding client insights, technical requirements, and AI use cases back into the product roadmap.
- Mentor client engineering teams — upskilling developers in Java, React, and AI engineering best practices through hands-on pairing and knowledge sharing.

What We're Looking For

- 10+ years of full stack engineering experience with deep proven expertise across Java backend, React frontend, and AI / GenAI integration in production environments.

- Deep Java proficiency including Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Cloud, Hibernate / JPA, and microservices design patterns.

- Robust React.js expertise including TypeScript, Redux / Context API, state management, and REST API integration in large-scale enterprise applications.

- Proven AI / GenAI engineering experience including LLM integration, RAG pipeline design, prompt engineering, and agentic workflow development using LangChain or LlamaIndex.

- Strong cloud platform experience across AWS or Azure including Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipeline management.

- Exceptional client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills — able to engage CTOs, engineering directors, and technical teams with authority and credibility.

- Proven ability to rapidly understand complex client environments, identify technical challenges, and deliver pragmatic, high-quality solutions at pace.

- Experience working in client-facing or consulting engineering roles — comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-moving, and high-visibility client delivery environments.

- Strong system design and architecture skills — distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and API-first design.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills — producing clear technical proposals, architecture documents, and client-facing presentations.
