Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Supply Chain Manager – E-commerce to oversee and optimize the end-to-end supply chain operations for our e-commerce business. The role will be responsible for demand planning, inventory management, procurement coordination, warehousing, order fulfillment, logistics, and returns management.

The ideal candidate will have solid analytical and problem-solving skills, experience working with e-commerce supply chains, and the ability to improve operational efficiency while maintaining high service levels and controlling costs.

Key Responsibilities1. Supply Chain Planning

- Develop and execute end-to-end supply chain strategies aligned with business and sales objectives.
- Prepare demand and supply forecasts based on historical sales, market trends, promotions, and seasonality.
- Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Procurement, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure product availability.
- Identify supply chain risks and develop contingency plans.

2. Inventory Management

- Maintain optimal inventory levels across warehouses and fulfillment locations.
- Monitor inventory turnover, aging, excess stock, and stock-outs.
- Develop replenishment plans based on demand forecasts and sales trends.
- Minimize inventory carrying costs while maintaining required service levels.
- Establish processes for slow-moving, damaged, and obsolete inventory.

3. Warehouse & Fulfillment Operations

- Manage warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, dispatch, and inventory reconciliation.
- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Improve warehouse productivity, space utilization, and process efficiency.
- Monitor fulfillment performance and resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Implement appropriate SOPs and process controls.

4. Logistics & Last-Mile Delivery

- Manage relationships with logistics and courier partners.
- Monitor delivery performance, shipment costs, COD reconciliation,



and customer delivery experience.
- Track key logistics KPIs such as on-time delivery, RTO, cancellation, and delivery success rates.
- Negotiate rates and service terms with logistics partners.
- Develop strategies to optimize transportation and last-mile delivery costs.

5. Returns & Reverse Logistics

- Develop efficient processes for returns, replacements, refunds, and reverse logistics.
- Analyze return and RTO trends and identify root causes.
- Work with relevant teams to reduce avoidable returns and operational losses.
- Ensure returned products are properly inspected, restocked, repaired, or disposed of as applicable.

6. Vendor & Partner Management

- Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, 3PLs, warehouses, and logistics partners.
- Monitor vendor performance against agreed SLAs.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and resolve service issues.
- Support commercial negotiations and cost optimization initiatives.

7. Data & Performance Management

- Develop and monitor supply chain dashboards and KPIs.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Use data-driven insights to improve forecasting and operational decision-making.

8. Process Improvement

- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline supply chain processes.
- Drive initiatives to reduce costs, improve order accuracy, shorten fulfillment timelines, and increase customer satisfaction.
- Implement SOPs, controls, and continuous improvement programs.
- Work with technology teams to improve ERP, WMS, OMS, and e-commerce platform integration.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or e-commerce operations.
- Experience managing end-to-end e-commerce supply chain operations.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehousing, fulfillment, and logistics.
- Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets and supply chain reporting.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in D2C, marketplace, retail, or omnichannel e-commerce.
- Experience managing 3PL and last-mile delivery partners.
- Knowledge of demand planning and inventory forecasting.
- Experience with supply chain automation and process improvement.
- Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or advanced Excel.
- Experience managing multi-warehouse or pan-India operations.
