We are seeking talented individuals for our Water Team to work on diverse sewerage projects that deliver sustainable benefits to communities and the environment. This role involves hydraulic modelling (1D-2D) and engineering aspects of wastewater projects.

The role leads, supervises, and develops a team of hydraulic modellers and engineers while overseeing the successful delivery of wastewater projects. The position provides technical leadership, advisory support, resource management, quality review, and client engagement to deliver high-quality and sustainable solutions.

Your Role

- Lead, oversee, and supervise the delivery of hydraulic modelling and wastewater engineering projects.

- Perform hydraulic modelling (1D-2D), model verification, evaluation, feasibility studies, optioneering, and outline design of solutions.

- Monitor and review technical outputs to ensure quality, compliance, and timely delivery.

- Line manage and develop engineers and modellers through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.

- Administer and oversee project resources, workload planning, and delivery priorities.

- Provide technical advisory support to clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring robust and practical engineering solutions.

- Review and evaluate modelling results, engineering risks, constraints, and opportunities.

- Develop automation tools to deliver high-quality work efficiently.

- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and best practice development.

- Maintain high standards through quality assurance, governance, and adherence to business standards.

- Oversee client relationships and support project and business growth objectives.





- Assist with project management and successful project delivery.

About You

- Bachelor'S or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or Geography.

- 15+ years of experience in hydraulic design or modelling.

- Working towards chartership with ICE, CIWEM, or similar institutions.

- Proficiency in InfoWorks ICM, MapInfo, QGIS, Sewer Gems, HEC-RAS, MicroDrainage, or similar tools.

- Strong communication and technical report writing skills.

- Experienced in leading, developing, and mentoring technical teams.

- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management abilities.

- Self-motivated and capable of working under pressure.
