JOB DESCRIPTION – MACHINE OPERATOR

Position: Machine Operator

1. Job Purpose

To operate and monitor jewellery manufacturing machines safely and efficiently, maintain product quality, and achieve production targets as per company standards.

2. EligibilityFor Freshers

- ITI / Diploma candidates from relevant technical trades.
- Freshers are welcome.
- Basic knowledge of machines and mechanical operations will be an advantage.
- Willingness to learn jewellery manufacturing processes.
- Willing to work in shifts, including night shifts, as per production requirements.

For Experienced Candidates

- Candidates with experience in jewellery manufacturing / jewellery industry will be preferred.
- Candidates with machine operating experience in other manufacturing industries may also be considered if they are willing to learn and work in the jewellery industry.
- Experience in operating production machinery will be an advantage.
- Candidates should be willing to work in shifts.

3. Key Responsibilities

- Operate assigned machines as per standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Set and adjust machines according to production requirements.
- Monitor machine operation and identify abnormalities.
- Maintain required production quality and quantity.
- Check components/products during the production process.
- Report machine breakdowns, defects, and other issues to the supervisor.
- Follow safety procedures and company rules at all times.




- Maintain cleanliness and 5S in the workplace.
- Handle materials and tools properly.
- Complete production records and related documentation.
- Follow instructions from the supervisor and production team.
- Support continuous improvement and productivity initiatives.

4. Skills Required

- Basic machine operating knowledge.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to understand and follow work instructions.
- Good attention to detail.
- Basic problem-solving ability.
- Quality-conscious approach.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment and shifts.

5. Preferred Candidates

Priority may be given to:

- ITI / Diploma freshers who are interested in machine operating work.
- Candidates with previous jewellery industry machine operating experience.
- Experienced machine operators from other manufacturing industries who are willing to learn and work in jewellery manufacturing.

6. Working Conditions

- Manufacturing / production environment.
- Shift-based work.
- Candidates must follow company safety, quality, and production standards.
- Overtime may be required based on production requirements.

7. Education

ITI / Diploma – Relevant Technical Trades

Experience:

- Freshers: 0 years – training will be provided.
- Experienced: Jewellery industry experience preferred; other manufacturing machine-operating experience can also be considered.

Pay: ₹15,500.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
