Location- Chennai

Required Experience

Overall 5- 8 years of experience with 1-3 years of relevant experience in technical support system administration or similar operational role

Handson experience with application deployments and building CICD pipelines

Experience with CICD tools such as Jenkins

Essential skills

Working knowledge of Git version control system

Understanding of CICD Continuous IntegrationContinuous Deployment concepts and pipelines with Jenkins

Strong troubleshooting skills across build failures deployment issues and workplace instability ability to identify root cause using logsmetrics

Monitoring ing and observability

Handson experience with Splunk andor New Relic dashboards creation threshold tuning and incident support

Experience working with oncall processes and incident response workflows acknowledgement triage escalation PIR followups

Cloud platform fundamentals

Working knowledge of GCP and KubernetesGKE operational concepts deployments podnode troubleshooting scaling resource saturation

Basic understanding of Java application server environments eg JVM fundamentals application deployment processes log interpretation

Desired skills

Basic scripting knowledge eg Bash Shell Python

Experience integrating ing platforms via APIs eg Opsgenie API integration

Knowledge of fundamental networking protocols and concepts TCPIP DNS HTTPS basic load balancing knowledge

Ability to read comprehend and accurately execute technical documentation and runbooks

Understanding of SRE practices SLOsSLIs toil reduction postincident actions consistent with the platform pillar expectations

Exposure to security and governance in CICD secrets handling container policies separation of duties access controls

ROLES RESPONSIBILITIES





Delivery and Execution

Build maintain CICD pipelines and deployment workflows JenkinsBitbucket and related tooling including troubleshooting builddeploy failures and improving pipeline reliability

Enable releases across environments DEVQASTAGEPROD including environment readiness checks validations and deployment support for both cloudnative and legacy runtimes

Monitor system s and notifications from our monitoring tools eg CheckMk New Relic Opsgenie PagerDuty Splunk

Execute standard operating procedures SOPs and runbooks for routine maintenance common issue resolution and system health checks

Perform tasks such as application restarts log analysis and rotation disk space management and basic troubleshooting steps

Assist with basic troubleshooting of Java application issues including analyzing various logs checking application healthstatus and verifying configurations

Monitor system resources CPU memory disk network IO and identify potential performance bottlenecks or anomalies

Contribute to improving and updating runbooks and operational documentation based on handson experience and feedback

Support and Enablement

Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations processes and incident logs

Work closely with infrastructure application and security teams to support integrated system requirements





Participate actively in team meetings operational reviews and knowledgesharing sessions relevant to the contract engagement

Work with application teams DBAs securitygovernance and architecture reviewers to implement reliable and compliant changes including change readiness monitoring approval processes and controlled rollouts
