About the Role

We are looking for a friendly, well-groomed, and organised Hotel Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our guests. Trichy welcomes a steady flow of pilgrims visiting Srirangam and Samayapuram, tourists heading to Rockfort, and business travellers, so the ideal candidate will be comfortable handling a diverse range of guests with warmth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and manage check-in and check-out smoothly, including ID verification and Form C registration for foreign nationals.

- Handle room reservations by phone, walk-in, email, and online travel platforms (MakeMyTrip, Booking.com, Goibibo, etc.).

- Answer phone calls and respond to guest enquiries about rooms, tariffs, facilities, and local attractions.

- Process payments via cash, card, and UPI, and prepare accurate bills and GST invoices.

- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and restaurant teams to meet guest requests.

- Handle guest complaints politely and escalate to the manager when needed.

- Maintain guest records, registers, and the hotel management software (PMS).

- Arrange taxis, airport or railway station pickups, and share information about temples and sightseeing in and around Trichy.





- Keep the front desk area clean, organised, and presentable.

- Prepare shift handover reports and daily occupancy summaries.

Requirements

-Education: Any degree; a Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management is preferred.

- Experience: 2-3years in a front office or customer service role (freshers with positive communication skills are welcome).

-Languages: Fluent Tamil and good spoken English are essential; Hindi is an added advantage.

Skills: Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, email); familiarity with hotel software is a plus.

Pleasant personality, good grooming, and a customer-first attitude.

Willingness to work rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and festival seasons.

Salary & Benefits

-Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹22,000 per month, depending on experience and hotel category
