Job Description

Idea Media is looking for a Graphic Designer, Video Editor & Trainer with 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience.

The selected candidate will be responsible for creating graphic designs and video content for company and digital marketing requirements. The candidate will also conduct practical training sessions for students in Graphic Designing and Video Editing, guide them through projects, and provide feedback on their work.

The role requires practical knowledge of graphic design and video editing along with good communication and teaching skills.

Key ResponsibilitiesGraphic Designing

- Create social media posts, stories, banners, advertisements, and promotional designs.
- Create designs according to project requirements and brand guidelines.
- Prepare designs in suitable formats and sizes for different digital platforms.
- Edit and improve designs based on requirements.
- Maintain consistency in fonts, layouts, colours, and visual style.
- Make revisions based on feedback.
- Develop creative designs for digital marketing and promotional activities.

Video Editing

- Edit reels, short-form videos, promotional videos, and social media content.
- Edit video clips, images, audio, text, captions, transitions, and effects.
- Create videos according to project and content requirements.
- Prepare and export videos in suitable formats for different platforms.
- Make revisions based on feedback.
- Maintain organized design and video project files.

Student Training





- Conduct practical training sessions for students in Graphic Designing and Video Editing.
- Teach students the fundamentals of graphic design and video editing.
- Demonstrate design and video editing software and tools.
- Explain practical techniques used in graphic design and video production.
- Provide practical assignments and projects to students.
- Guide students while they work on assignments and projects.
- Review students' work and provide constructive feedback.
- Help students improve their design and video editing skills.
- Monitor student progress during training sessions.
- Maintain a professional and supportive learning environment.
- Keep training materials and practical exercises organized.
- Coordinate with the relevant team regarding training schedules and student requirements.

General Responsibilities

- Coordinate with the digital marketing, content, and training teams.
- Understand project and training requirements.
- Complete assigned creative and training responsibilities within the required timelines.
- Maintain quality standards in both creative work and training sessions.
- Communicate clearly with students, team members, and management.
- Stay updated with current graphic design, video editing, and digital content trends.

Required Skills

- Practical knowledge of Graphic Designing.
- Practical knowledge of Video Editing.
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
- Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Canva.




- Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro or CapCut.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects is an advantage.
- Understanding of typography, layout, colour, and composition.
- Ability to create social media designs and short-form videos.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain technical and creative concepts clearly.
- Patience and ability to work with students at different skill levels.
- Positive time-management and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualification

- Degree, diploma, certification, or relevant qualification in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Visual Communication, Animation, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred.
- 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in graphic design and video editing.
- Previous training, teaching, mentoring, or student-handling experience is an advantage.
- Portfolio or samples of previous graphic design and video editing work are required.

Salary

₹15,000 – ₹18,000 per month

The salary offered will be determined based on the candidate's relevant skills, qualifications, experience, portfolio, and suitability for the role.

Work Schedule

- Full-time position
- On-site work
- Working hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- The selected candidate will work from the Kakkanchery office and conduct student training sessions as part of the role.
