Job Description

Job Summary

The HVAC BIM Modeler (Revit) is responsible for creating, developing, and coordinating detailed 3D BIM models for HVAC systems using Autodesk Revit. The role involves preparing Approval / GFC layouts, taking quantity from the BIM model, resolving the clashes, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring project deliverables comply with client and company BIM standards.

Key Responsibilities for generating the below HVAC layouts:

- Supply and return Duct layouts
- Chilled water piping layouts
- Refrigerant piping layout




- Fresh & exhaust air layouts
- Ventilation layouts
- Mechanical equipment layouts like AHU, FWH, Chillers, cooling tower, VSDs, units etc.
- Prepare HVAC shop drawings, sections, schedules, and detailed installation drawings.
- Perform clash detection and coordinate with Architectural, Structural, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection disciplines.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and resolve coordination issues.
- Extract quantities and generate material take-offs from BIM models.
- Ensure compliance with project BIM standards, LOD requirements, and client specifications.
- Support BIM Coordinators and Project Engineers during project execution.
