Job Summary

Solution Arch - Pre-Sales /Solutions

Key Responsibilities

1. Analyze client requirements, RFPs/RFIs, use cases, and business challenges to craft tailored solutions.
2. Create solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, and technical proposals.
3. Evaluate multiple design options and recommend the best-fit architecture aligned with cost, performance, and scalability requirements.
4. Support pricing, estimation, and effort modeling.
5. Participate in client meetings, workshops, discovery sessions, and technical deep dives.
6. Present solutions clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.
7. Act as the technical SME during the sales cycle and respond to solution-related questions and objections.
8. Conduct product demos, PoCs, and capability sessions.
9. Architect end to end solutions across applications, platforms, cloud, and data components.
10. Define integration patterns, APIs, security layers, data flows, and system interactions.
11. Ensure designs follow enterprise architecture standards, best practices, and compliance requirements.
12. Prepare high quality artefacts: solution decks, architecture diagrams, BoMs, SOW inputs, and technical write ups.
13. Document assumptions, risks, dependencies, and success criteria.
14. Maintain reusable solution templates and accelerators for future opportunities.
15. Work closely with sales, product managers, engineering leads,



and delivery architects.
16. Align technical feasibility with business goals and client expectations.
17. Hand over approved solutions to delivery teams with complete clarity and documentation.
18. Stay updated with emerging technologies, platforms, and industry trends.
19. Identify opportunities to introduce recent technologies, frameworks, and solution patterns.
20. Contribute to IP creation (accelerators, frameworks, reference architectures).

Skill Requirements

1. Strong understanding of solution architecture principles (scalability, security, performance, reliability).
2. Experience with cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP), integration patterns, APIs, microservices, and data flows.
3. Ability to design solutions across application stacks, data platforms, automation tools, or AI/ML platforms (based on your org’s domain).
4. Hands-on familiarity with PoCs, prototypes, and demos.
5. Expertise in RFP/RFI handling, proposal creation, and solution positioning.
6. Ability to create compelling value propositions and cost/benefit analyses.
7. Strong presentation and storytelling skills.

Other Requirements

1. Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2. 7–12+ years of experience in solution architecture, pre‑sales, consulting, or technical leadership roles (adjust as needed).
3. Cloud certifications or architecture certifications (preferred).
