We are looking for an experienced and skilled VMC Setter to join our Machine Shop team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set and operate VMC machines as per production requirements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and machining instructions.
- Set tools, fixtures, work offsets, and machine parameters.
- Perform tool setting, tool offset correction, and job alignment.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and quality of machined components.
- Conduct first-piece inspection and in-process quality checks.
- Handle different components and machining operations as per production schedules.
- Identify and rectify machining issues to minimize rejection and rework.
- Achieve production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Maintain 5S and housekeeping in the machine shop.
- Coordinate with the Production and Quality teams for smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or relevant technical field.
- Experience: 2–5 years as a VMC Setter (preferred).
- Knowledge of CNC / VMC machine setting and tool offsets.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, work holding, and machining parameters.
- Good problem-solving skills and safety awareness.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
