We create videos that educate, inform and connect with patients, families, healthcare professionals and the wider community.

We are looking for a Video Editor who can take raw footage and turn it into engaging, well-paced content for our digital and social media platforms.

Role Overview:

The person in this role will work closely with the marketing and creative teams to edit a wide range of video content from hospital events and doctor interviews to social media reels, awareness videos and short-form digital campaigns.

We are looking for someone who understands visual storytelling, pacing, social media formats and current video trends, and who is comfortable experimenting with AI-based tools to create animated and engaging content.

Key Responsibilities:

- Edit videos for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn and other digital platforms. Edit event videos, including conferences, hospital events, community camps, launches and corporate events
- Edit talking-head videos featuring doctors, healthcare professionals, leadership and other team members.
- Create engaging Reels and short-form videos with appropriate cuts, transitions, text, music, subtitles and visual elements.
- Convert longer videos/interviews into multiple short-form social media assets.
- Create animated reels, motion graphics and simple explainer videos.
- Use AI-based video and creative tools where relevant to create animations, visual effects, voiceovers, image/video elements and other engaging content.
- Add captions, lower thirds, titles, graphics, sound effects and background music while maintaining a clean and professional look.
- Understands the objective of each video and translate the brief into a strong visual output.
- Maintain consistency with Geri Care’s brand guidelines, including fonts, colours,



logos and overall visual style.
- Organise and maintain video project files, footage, graphics and other digital assets.
- Keep up with relevant social media video formats, editing styles and trends, while ensuring that content remains appropriate for a healthcare brand.

What We Are Looking For:

- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in video editing, preferably in a digital marketing, advertising, media, healthcare or similar workplace.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent professional editing software.
- Working knowledge of After Effects or other motion graphics software will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of short-form content and social media video formats.
- Ability to edit talking-head videos with good pacing and storytelling.
- Ability to work with event footage and create a cohesive final video from large amounts of raw footage.
- A strong understanding of colour correction, audio balancing and sound design.
- Experience creating motion graphics, animated text and visual transitions.
- Familiarity with AI video and creative tools and an interest in exploring new AI-assisted workflows.
- Good visual sense and attention to detail.
- Ability to understand a brief and work independently from concept to final output.
- Good time management and the ability to handle multiple videos and deadlines.
- Portfolio

A portfolio/showreel is mandatory. Candidates should share examples of their previous work, particularly:

- Event videos
- Doctor/talking-head videos
- Instagram Reels or short-form content
- Motion graphics/animated videos
- AI-assisted video or animation work

What You Can Expect at Geri Care:

You will work on a variety of content rather than editing the same type of video every day. The role will involve working with doctors, healthcare teams, leadership, events and patient-focused communication, while also experimenting with newer formats and AI-based video tools.
