Job Description - Fabrication Supervisor

Position: Fabrication Supervisor
Department: Production
Reporting To: Plant Head

Job Summary

The Fabrication Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily fabrication activities, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily fabrication work and allocate tasks to workers.
- Ensure fabrication is completed as per drawings and production schedules.
- Monitor quality, fit-up, welding, and dimensional accuracy.
- Coordinate with Planning, Stores, Purchase, and Quality departments.
- Maintain manpower discipline, attendance, and productivity.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with safety procedures.
- Minimize material wastage and reduce rework.
- Maintain daily production and work progress reports.





Qualifications

- Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering or a related trade.
- 3–5 years of experience in fabrication, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

Skills

- Ability to read fabrication drawings.
- Knowledge of welding and fabrication processes.
- Leadership and team management.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel/ERP).
- Positive communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
