Plant Head – Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Plant Head to lead overall plant operations, ensuring efficient production, quality, cost control, safety, manpower management, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee end-to-end plant operations and production activities.
- Plan production schedules and ensure timely achievement of production targets.
- Monitor productivity, quality, rejection, wastage, and production costs.
- Manage and optimize manpower, machines, materials, and resources.
- Coordinate with PPC, Stores, Purchase, Quality, R&D;, Maintenance, and Accounts teams.
- Ensure proper implementation of SOPs, work processes, and quality standards.
- Monitor machine utilization, downtime, maintenance, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Identify operational issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Control production wastage, rework, rejection, and material consumption.
- Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and company policies.
- Develop and monitor KPI/production performance of teams and departments.
- Lead, motivate, and develop production supervisors and plant employees.




- Conduct regular review meetings and report plant performance to management.
- Ensure proper 5S, discipline, housekeeping, and workplace safety.
- Support new product development, process improvement, and capacity expansion.
- Handle production-related challenges and ensure smooth day-to-day plant functioning.

Required Skills

- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of manufacturing and production processes.
- Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of PPC, inventory, quality, maintenance, and cost control.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in ERP/Odoo or similar manufacturing systems is preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve production targets.

Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Experience

Experience in electronics, CCTV, electrical, cable, security products, or similar manufacturing industries will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
