Job Title: Sourcing

Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sourcing Executive to manage end-to-end sourcing activities for our Home category. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and onboarding suppliers, negotiating commercial terms, driving cost optimization, ensuring product quality, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality products on time. This role requires a strong understanding of vendor management, market trends, and procurement best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Supplier Sourcing & Development
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new domestic and international suppliers for home furnishing, home décor, and lifestyle products.
- Conduct supplier assessments based on quality, manufacturing capabilities, pricing, compliance, capacity, and reliability.
- Build and maintain a healthy supplier base to support business growth and product expansion.

- Vendor Management

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers to ensure consistent quality, timely deliveries, and long-term partnerships.
- Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and work with vendors to improve service levels, lead times, and operational efficiency.
- Resolve supplier-related issues and ensure smooth day-to-day coordination.

- Commercial Negotiation

- Lead negotiations on pricing, payment terms, MOQs, lead times, contracts, and commercial agreements.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives while maintaining product quality and delivery commitments.
- Support annual cost negotiations and periodic price reviews.





- Product Sourcing & Quality

- Partner with Product Development and Quality teams to source products that meet design, quality, and commercial requirements.
- Coordinate product sampling, vendor development, and quality approvals before production.
- Work closely with suppliers to resolve quality concerns and implement corrective actions.

- Market Research & Category Insights

- Track market trends, raw material pricing, emerging suppliers, and competitor offerings within the Home category.
- Identify cutting-edge products, materials, and sourcing opportunities to strengthen the product portfolio.
- Support category expansion by identifying new manufacturing partners and sourcing regions.

- Cost & Inventory Optimization

- Analyze sourcing costs and identify opportunities for improving product margins.
- Work closely with Planning and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely procurement and inventory availability.
- Support demand planning by monitoring supplier capacities and production timelines.

- Cross-functional Collaboration

- Collaborate with Merchandising, Product Development, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance,



and Logistics teams to ensure smooth product launches and replenishment.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve procurement and supply-related issues efficiently.

- Risk & Compliance

- Monitor supplier compliance with quality standards, ethical sourcing practices, and company policies.
- Identify potential supply risks and proactively develop alternate sourcing strategies.
- Ensure all vendor documentation and contracts are updated and compliant.

- Reporting & Analytics

- Track supplier performance using key metrics such as quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness.
- Prepare sourcing reports, vendor scorecards, and cost analysis to support business decisions.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and sourcing documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in sourcing or procurement, preferably within the Home, Home Furnishing, Home Décor, Lifestyle, Furniture, or Consumer Goods industry.
- Strong experience in supplier sourcing, vendor development, and commercial negotiations.
- Good understanding of procurement processes, supplier lifecycle management, and contract negotiations.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/procurement systems is preferred.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple sourcing projects in a fast-paced environment.
