We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Lab Technician for the Pharmacy Department. The candidate will be responsible for assisting faculty and students during practical sessions, maintaining laboratory equipment and materials, managing inventory, and ensuring proper laboratory safety and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist faculty members in conducting pharmacy practical classes.
- Prepare chemicals, reagents, instruments, glassware, and other materials required for practical sessions.
- Set up and dismantle laboratory equipment before and after practical classes.
- Operate and maintain pharmacy laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Maintain proper records of laboratory equipment, chemicals, consumables, and stock.
- Monitor laboratory inventory and inform the department regarding shortages and purchase requirements.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, handling, and disposal of chemicals and laboratory materials.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards within the laboratory.
- Identify and report damaged or malfunctioning equipment and coordinate for necessary maintenance.
- Assist during practical examinations, inspections, workshops,



demonstrations, and other departmental activities.
- Ensure students follow laboratory safety rules and procedures.
- Maintain laboratory registers and documentation as required by the department.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Head of Department/Principal.

Educational Qualification

- D.Pharm / B.Pharm from a recognized institution.
- Candidates with relevant laboratory experience will be preferred.
- Freshers may also apply.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of pharmacy laboratory procedures and equipment.
- Basic knowledge of handling chemicals, reagents, and laboratory instruments.
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work effectively with faculty and students.
- Responsible, disciplined, and safety-conscious approach.
- Positive communication and teamwork skills.
