Job Overview We are seeking a versatile Merchandiser & Production Manager to oversee end-to-end execution of uniform manufacturing orders. This hybrid role requires managing fabric sourcing, coordinating daily factory operations, and maintaining accurate production documentation to ensure high-quality delivery on tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

- Fabric & Trim Sourcing
- Source fabrics, trims, and accessories based on order specifications, client requirements, and cost targets.
- Coordinate with mills, suppliers, and job workers to negotiate pricing, check stock availability, and secure lab dips/swatches.
- Production Management & Floor Control
- Plan daily production schedules across cutting, stitching, finishing, and packing units.
- Monitor sampling, size set approvals, and production flow to prevent bottlenecks.
- Inspect quality control standards at each manufacturing stage to minimize defects.
- Merchandising & Client Coordination
- Translate client order details into accurate Tech Packs and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Act as the direct bridge between sales teams, clients, and the factory floor.




- Track critical path dates (consumption, sampling, mass production schedules) to guarantee on-time delivery.
- Production Documentation & Paperwork
- Prepare daily/weekly production progress reports, job cards, and cut-to-ship ratios.
- Maintain purchase orders, vendor invoices, delivery challans, and fabric consumption records.
- Manage inventory records for raw materials and finished uniform goods.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Experience: 3–6 years of hands-on experience in garment merchandising, fabric sourcing, and production management (experience in uniform or workwear manufacturing preferred).
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of fabric constructions, GSM, garment construction, pattern making basics, and embroidery/printing techniques.
- Paperwork & Tech: Proficient in MS Excel/Google Sheets, inventory logging, and creating BOMs or ERP entries.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation skills, vendor management, team coordination, and problem-solving abilities under tight timelines.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
