Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced NPD Engineer with strong expertise in CNC programming, process planning, and new-part development. The candidate will be responsible for developing machining processes for recent components, selecting appropriate tooling, conducting component prove-outs, and ensuring successful first-time machine setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and optimize CNC programs for new components.
- Handle recent part development (NPD) from drawing study through production.
- Prepare effective process plans and machining sequences.
- Select suitable cutting tools, inserts, holders, and tooling solutions.
- Perform first-time machine setting and component prove-out.
- Conduct trial runs and resolve machining/process-related issues.
- Analyze and reduce machining cycle time without compromising quality.
- Optimize cutting parameters such as speed, feed, depth of cut, and tool paths.
- Coordinate with production, quality, tooling, and design teams during new-part development.
- Ensure components are manufactured according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, productivity enhancement, and cost reduction.
- Support smooth transfer of successfully developed components to regular production.
- Maintain CNC programs, process documentation, and tooling records.





Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of CNC programming and machining processes.
- Good understanding of G-code/M-code and CNC machine operations.
- Experience in new component development and prove-out.
- Knowledge of tool selection and cutting parameters.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T;.
- Strong understanding of machining processes and troubleshooting.
- Ability to reduce cycle time and improve machining efficiency.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently handle first-time machine setting.

Qualification

- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering or a relevant discipline.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in CNC machining, NPD, process planning, and component development.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in CNC programming and new-part prove-out will be preferred.

Pay: From ₹60,000.00 per month
