Job Purpose

To prepare accurate HVAC/MEP drawings, layouts and shop drawings for projects and coordinate with Project Engineers, consultants and site teams to ensure drawings are suitable for execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare HVAC layouts, ducting layouts, piping layouts and equipment layouts using AutoCAD.
- Prepare detailed shop drawings, working drawings and as-built drawings.
- Prepare drawings for VRF/VRV, Split, Cassette, Ductable, AHU and other HVAC systems.
- Prepare copper piping, drain piping, ducting, supports, grills, diffusers and equipment layouts.
- Read and interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
- Coordinate HVAC drawings with electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting and other services to avoid clashes.
- Incorporate consultant/client comments and revise drawings accordingly.
- Prepare material take-offs, BOQ/BOM and quantity requirements from approved drawings.
- Coordinate with Project Engineers and site teams regarding site measurements and design changes.
- Prepare as-built drawings based on actual site execution.
- Maintain proper drawing numbering, revision control and project documentation.
- Visit project sites when required for measurements, verification and drawing corrections.
- Ensure drawings are accurate,



explicit and issued within project timelines.

Qualification

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Draughtsman Mechanical / MEP or equivalent.
- Candidates with HVAC drafting experience will be preferred.

Experience

1–5 years of relevant experience in HVAC/MEP drafting.
Freshers with good AutoCAD knowledge and HVAC/MEP training may also be considered.

Technical Skills

- AutoCAD 2D – Mandatory
- Good knowledge of HVAC drawings and symbols.
- Knowledge of ducting and copper/refrigerant piping layouts.
- Ability to understand architectural and structural drawings.
- MS Office knowledge.
- Revit MEP / BIM knowledge – Added advantage.
- Knowledge of BOQ and quantity take-off will be an advantage.

Location Preference

Candidates from Mysuru / residing in Mysuru will be given preference.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
