housekeeping staff will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation in dining areas, kitchens, and pantries to ensure a safe, compliant workplace. Key duties include cleaning dining tables, sweeping/mopping floors, cleaning kitchen equipment, managing waste disposal, and adhering to strict food safety protocols (HACCP).

Core Responsibilities

· Cleaning & Sanitation: Daily cleaning of canteen floors, tables, chairs, serving areas, and restrooms to meet hygiene standards.

· Kitchen Maintenance: Cleaning kitchen equipment, surfaces, and back-of-house areas, including proper waste management and trash disposal.

· Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety protocols, including the safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

· Inventory Control:



Monitoring and ensuring availability of cleaning supplies.

· Support Services: Assisting with table clearing, restocking essentials, and maintaining a presentable, organized, and hygienic dining environment.

Requirements

· Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in food services, corporate cafeterias, or industrial catering (typically 2–4 years).

· Skills: Knowledge of professional cleaning chemicals, tools, and safety protocols (HACCP awareness is often preferred).

· Education: 10th
