Job Description – Import Documentation Executive CHA

Position: Import Documentation Executive
Industry: CHA / Logistics
Location: Thoothukudi
Experience: 2–4 Years

Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end import documentation and clearance processes.
- Prepare and verify Bill of Entry (BOE), invoices, packing lists, and other import documents.
- Manage online filing and documentation through customs/CHA portals.
- Handle ODEX processing and related documentation.
- Coordinate with customers, shipping lines, liners, CFS, customs, and internal teams.
- Coordinate with liners for DO, shipment status, container details, and delivery-related activities.
- Check import documents for accuracy and ensure timely submission.
- Follow up on customs clearance, examination, duty payment, and shipment release.
- Maintain proper records of import shipments and documentation.
- Resolve documentation issues and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for smooth clearance.




- Ensure compliance with customs and company procedures.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Import Documentation & Customs Clearance.
- Experience in CHA / Freight Forwarding / Logistics operations.
- Hands-on experience in ODEX processing and online filing.
- Knowledge of Bill of Entry (BOE) and import clearance procedures.
- Good customer and liner coordination skills.
- Good communication, follow-up, and documentation skills.
- Basic knowledge of customs procedures and shipping documentation.

Qualification

- Any Graduate / Diploma.
- Relevant experience in CHA / Customs / Import Documentation will be preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
