Job Title: Manual QA Tester

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual QA Tester to ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of our web applications. You will work closely with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to identify issues, validate features, and ensure a smooth user experience before and after releases.

Key Responsibilities:

- Understand project requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and exploratory testing
- Test web applications across different browsers, devices, and screen sizes
- Identify, document, and track bugs with transparent steps to reproduce and supporting details
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and resolve reported issues
- Perform UI/UX testing to ensure applications meet design and usability requirements
- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not affected
- Validate APIs using tools such as Postman when required
- Maintain test cases, test documentation, and testing reports
- Participate in release testing and provide feedback on application quality
- Analyze test results and identify potential quality risks before deployment
- Ensure features meet functional and business requirements

Required Skills:

- Strong understanding of software testing and QA methodologies
- Experience in manual testing of web applications




- Knowledge of functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and exploratory testing
- Ability to create detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test reports
- Strong bug reporting and documentation skills
- Experience with bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira or similar tools
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and API testing
- Familiarity with Postman or similar API testing tools
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web application functionality
- Familiarity with Git and version control is a plus
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and collaboration skills

Preferred / Nice-to-have:

- Experience testing responsive web applications across desktop, tablet, and mobile
- Basic knowledge of SQL or MongoDB for database validation
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes
- Experience with cross-browser and compatibility testing
- Familiarity with performance and security testing concepts
- Basic understanding of automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
- Familiarity with AI-powered QA and testing tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or similar tools to assist with test case creation, documentation, debugging, and problem-solving

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹46,610.73 per month
