Hostess role

A hostess is mainly responsible for welcoming and managing guests at the restaurant entrance. Typical duties include:

- Greeting guests warmly when they arrive.
- Checking reservations and managing the seating plan.
- Escorting guests to their tables.
- Providing menus and explaining basic restaurant information.
- Managing waiting lists during busy periods.
- Coordinating with waiters, supervisors, and kitchen staff.
- Handling guest requests and directing complaints to the appropriate person.
- Maintaining a pleasant and professional appearance.
- Saying goodbye to guests and thanking them for visiting.

Waitress role

A waitress is more directly involved in serving food and beverages. Dutiesgenerally include:

- Taking food and drink orders.




- Serving food and beverages to guests.
- Explaining menu items when required.
- Setting and clearing tables.
- Checking on guests during their meal.
- Communicating special requests or dietary requirements to the kitchen.
- Preparing and presenting bills.
- Processing or coordinating payments according to hotel procedures.
- Maintaining cleanliness and proper table setup.
- Providing courteous customer service.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
