The Role

We are looking for an Associate – Software Engineering (Interface) to join our engineering team and contribute to building modern, responsive and engaging web applications. The role involves translating UI/UX designs into high-quality interfaces, integrating backend APIs, developing reusable UI components, and ensuring excellent performance, usability and cross-browser compatibility.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain user-facing web applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks.
- Build responsive, mobile-friendly and cross-browser-compatible web pages and applications.
- Convert UI/UX designs, wireframes and prototypes into functional and visually consistent interfaces.
- Develop reusable UI components and maintain consistent design patterns across applications.
- Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs and backend services.
- Handle data transfer, API requests, responses, validation and error handling effectively.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, Business Analysts and other stakeholders to deliver new features.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and suggest appropriate technical solutions where required.
- Optimise web applications for speed,



scalability, performance and usability.
- Identify and resolve UI, functional, compatibility and performance-related issues.
- Conduct code reviews and follow established coding standards and development best practices.
- Maintain clean, reusable, scalable and well-documented code.
- Ensure websites and applications work effectively across different browsers, screen sizes and devices.
- Support QA teams during testing and resolve defects identified during development and testing cycles.
- Participate in requirement discussions, sprint planning, reviews and other Agile development activities.
- Stay updated with emerging front-end technologies, frameworks, tools and industry best practices.

Requirements

- 1–3 years of professional experience as a Front-End Developer.
- Strong proficiency in one or more modern front-end frameworks: React.js, Next.js, Angular or Vue.js.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery.
- Good understanding of responsive and mobile-first web design principles.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and the ability to convert designs into functional interfaces.
- Experience in creating and customizing website templates and themes.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs and backend API integration, including data transfer and handling API responses.
- Understanding of JSON and asynchronous data handling.
- Familiarity with browser compatibility, accessibility and web standards.
- Good understanding of front-end performance optimisation.
- Experience working with Git or other version-control systems.




- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a development team.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
