About the Role

Flax Healthy Living is looking for an HQA Executive to ensure food safety, hygiene, quality and compliance across our Central Kitchen and multiple outlets in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular HQA, hygiene and food safety audits at outlets and Central Kitchen.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP and company food safety SOPs.
- Monitor personal hygiene, grooming, cleaning and sanitisation standards.
- Check food storage, temperature control, expiry, labelling and FIFO/FEFO practices.
- Monitor prevention of cross-contamination and safe food-handling practices.
- Coordinate and monitor pest control and deep-cleaning activities.
- Maintain audit reports, checklists, temperature logs, cleaning records and other HQA documentation.
- Identify non-compliances, prepare corrective action plans and follow up for closure.
- Investigate food quality and hygiene complaints and coordinate with Operations/Central Kitchen for resolution.
- Conduct basic food safety and hygiene training for outlet and kitchen staff.
- Monitor incoming raw-material quality and report any quality concerns.
- Travel across Mumbai outlets for audits and compliance checks.

Requirements

- Degree/Diploma in Food Technology,



Food Science, Hotel Management, Microbiology or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in HQA/QA/Food Safety/QSR/Restaurant/Cloud Kitchen/Food Industry.
- Valuable knowledge of FSSAI and food safety practices.
- HACCP knowledge will be an advantage.
- Good communication, documentation and Excel/Google Sheets skills.
- Strong observation, follow-up and auditing skills.
- Comfortable travelling to multiple outlets in Mumbai.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
