About Content Lab

Content Lab is the content division of Fortune IAS Academy, one of Kerala's leading institutions in civil services training. We produce high-quality digital content videos, presentations and other forms of design for the civil services examination, other competitive examinations, and wider educational purposes.

Our work sits at the intersection of subject expertise, design, technology and production discipline. Two words define everything we do: quality and timeline.

About the role

The Manager owns the end-to-end journey of every piece of content Content Lab produces from the first conversation with a subject expert to the final video clearing quality assurance.

This is a hands-on role, not a supervisory one. You will personally generate and shape content and design output, while simultaneously leading a team of executives and coordinating a wider network of faculty, studio staff, editors and reviewers. You are the single point of accountability for what goes out and when it goes out.

Key responsibilities Content development

- Work with senior subject-matter experts and faculty to source, structure and sharpen content for each programme.
- Convert raw subject material into clear, well-sequenced, learner-ready scripts, storyboards and course outlines.
- Use AI (artificial intelligence) tools actively across research, drafting, structuring and design to raise both speed and quality.




- Translate content into strong visual design — slides, graphics, on-screen elements with a clear eye for what looks positive and what teaches well.

Production and coordination

- Plan and schedule shoots; coordinate faculty availability and manage studio operations end-to-end.
- Hand off recorded output to the editing table with complete and unambiguous briefs.
- Manage and follow up with editors through revision cycles until the output meets standard.
- Coordinate with the quality assurance team, close review feedback, and ensure every video is signed off before release.

Team and delivery management

- Lead, allocate work to, and develop two executives.
- Own the production calendar across multiple parallel programmes and hold the team to committed timelines.
- Build and improve the systems, checklists and workflows that make consistent quality repeatable.
- Report progress, risks and slippages to leadership early and honestly.

What we are looking for

- 4+ years of experience in content development, digital learning, media production, publishing or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated ability to produce content yourself, at a high standard. This role is not purely managerial.
- A genuine sense of design. You should be able to look at a slide,



a thumbnail or a frame and know whether it works.
- Working fluency with AI tools and a willingness to keep learning new ones.
- Proven experience managing people and coordinating across multiple stakeholders — faculty, studio, editors, reviewers.
- Strong command of English and the ability to handle academic and examination-oriented content with accuracy.
- Reliability under deadline pressure. Ownership, not excuses.
