Job Summary

The Endpoint Security L3 Engineer is responsible for managing and securing enterprise endpoint environments, serving as the highest level of technical escalation for endpoint protection incidents, threat remediation, compliance enforcement, and security platform administration. The role ensures proactive protection of desktops, laptops, servers, and mobile devices against cyber threats while maintaining compliance with organizational security standards. Key endpoint security platforms commonly include Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Intune, Trend Micro, McAfee ePO, DLP, EDR/XDR, and endpoint compliance solutions

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities Act as the L3 escalation point for endpoint security incidents and advanced troubleshooting. Manage and administer Endpoint Protection, EDR/XDR, Antivirus, DLP, and Device Control solutions. Lead threat investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery activities. Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for endpoint security incidents and implement corrective actions. Develop and enforce endpoint security baselines and hardening standards. Manage security policies, compliance controls, and endpoint protection configurations. Monitor endpoint security dashboards, alerts, threat intelligence, and vulnerability findings. Support audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements (ISO 27001, SOX, etc.). Collaborate with SOC, Infrastructure, IAM, Network, and Cloud Security teams. Create runbooks, SOPs, automation scripts, and knowledge articles.



Mentor L1/L2 engineers and provide technical leadership during major incidents.
