G M Fabrics is hiring "Project Manager – Process & Technology (Home Textiles / Technical Textiles)".

Base Location: Mumbai (Head Office) with frequent travel to Tarapur and Bhilad Plants

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – Process & Technology to lead the implementation of new manufacturing processes, technologies, and product innovations across our Tarapur and Bhilad plants. The role requires a techno-commercial professional with deep understanding of textile manufacturing, fancy yarns, advanced surface finishes, and value-added fabric processing who can convert new ideas into commercially viable production.

Job Role:

- Lead end-to-end implementation of new manufacturing processes and technologies across multiple plants.
- Drive cross-functional projects involving Design, Sampling, Production, Processing, Quality, Maintenance, Procurement, and Commercial teams.
- Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, risk assessments, and implementation roadmaps.
- Evaluate and introduce new machinery, equipment, and manufacturing technologies.
- Establish SOPs, process controls, and best practices for newly implemented processes.
- Conduct production trials, optimize parameters, and support successful scale-up from sampling to bulk production.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality,



cost, and sustainability.
- Coordinate with machinery suppliers, technology partners, chemical suppliers, and external consultants.
- Train plant teams during technology implementation and ensure knowledge transfer.
- Track project milestones and present progress reports to senior management.

Education, Experience and skillsets:

- Textile Engineering graduate; Master's degree or MBA will be an advantage.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in textile manufacturing, processing, or technical textiles.
- Proven experience leading plant improvement, technology implementation, or current process development projects.
- Strong understanding of woven home furnishing fabrics, upholstery, drapery, sheers, or related textile products.
- Experience working with machinery manufacturers, chemical suppliers, and technology providers.
- Strong project management, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel regularly between Mumbai, Tarapur, and Bhilad plants.
