The Role

You will be the engine of our original IP. You'll find ideas, shape them into pitches, and write full screenplays from a blank page — for short films, features and web series. You will work closely with the founder and present your work in our story-room sessions, where the whole team hears the story before it goes into production.

What You'll Do

- Generate original IP: build a steady slate of film and series ideas across genres — biopic, history, mythology, thriller, drama, sci-fi and more.
- Turn ideas into pitch documents: logline, world, characters, season or franchise potential, and why the story works now.
- Write complete screenplays from scratch: story structure, scene outline, full drafts and revisions.
- Research deeply for biographical, historical and mythological projects, and turn research into drama rather than information.
- Write visually: action lines that can be turned directly into shots, frames and AI video — clear, concrete and image-led.
- Present stories in live story-room sessions and take notes from the team, the director and clients.
- Revise quickly and cleanly, tracking versions and working with structured feedback from production.
- Adapt client briefs and existing material (books, real-life stories, client scripts) into screenplays when required.

What We're Looking For

Must have

- A portfolio of finished writing — at least two completed scripts (short, feature, episode, play or long-form video). Produced work is a plus, not a requirement.
- Excellent writing in Hindi (including Hinglish) and good working English.



Our primary creative register is Hinglish; some projects are in English for international markets.
- A strong grasp of story structure, character arcs, scene construction and dialogue.
- An idea machine: you notice stories everywhere — in history, news, family, business, mythology.
- Research discipline and respect for facts when writing about real people and events.
- The ability to take hard notes without ego and deliver the next draft on time.

Good to have

- Deep knowledge of Indian history, Mahabharata, Ramayana, Puranas or regional folklore.
- Experience writing web series (episode hooks, season arcs) or YouTube long-form storytelling.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools in a creative workflow — and a clear view of where they help and where they don't.
- Marathi or another Indian language.
- Genre range: thriller, action, fantasy, sci-fi.
