About the Company
A Fortune 200 company is building its Global Capability Centre (GCC) in India and has partnered with Flexiple to hire. You will own statutory accounting for one of the largest shared-services operations in the region. Flexiple is a managed marketplace that helps global companies build high-performing teams and GCCs in India.
Role Overview
As a Financial Accountant, you will own statutory books and financial statements, making sure reporting is accurate, compliant, and ready for audit.
Key Responsibilities
Statutory Accounting
- Maintain statutory books and prepare financial statements
- Own complex accruals, provisions, and revenue recognition
- Ensure reporting aligns with applicable accounting standards
Audit & Compliance
- Lead audit preparation and respond to auditor queries
- Support tax and regulatory filings across multiple entities
- Strengthen reconciliations and financial controls
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 2 to 6 years in financial or statutory accounting
- Strong grasp of financial statements and accounting standards
- Hands-on with an ERP and detailed reconciliation work
- Transparent written and spoken English and a reliable remote-work setup
Preferred Qualifications
- Qualified CA or CA Inter, or an equivalent qualification
- Exposure to IFRS or US GAAP reporting
- Experience in a GCC, shared-services, or multinational environment
