Role Description This is a full time, on-site Radiation Oncologist role based at the Sanskruti Cancer Hospital center in Mahuva. The Radiation Oncologist will assess patients, review diagnostic reports, and develop individualized radiation treatment plans in coordination with multidisciplinary oncology teams. Daily responsibilities include supervising and conducting radiation therapy sessions, verifying treatment parameters, monitoring patient responses, and managing treatment-related side effects. The role also involves maintaining accurate medical records, ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols, participating in tumor board discussions, and contributing to patient and family education about cancer treatment options.
The Radiation Oncologist is expected to support continuous improvement initiatives and uphold evidence-based clinical practice.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Medicine and Cancer Treatment, with experience in managing a broad spectrum of oncology cases.
- Advanced expertise in Radiation and Radiation Therapy, including treatment planning, dose calculation, and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in Stereotactic Radiosurgery and other specialized radiation techniques, with the ability to interpret imaging for precise targeting.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS) and postgraduate qualification in Radiation Oncology or equivalent, with valid registration from the appropriate medical council.
- We are looking for freshers or 6-12 months experienced candidates.
- Experience working in oncology centers or cancer hospitals, preferably with exposure to semi-urban or rural healthcare settings.
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered and culturally sensitive approach.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior medical staff and technicians.
- Commitment to continuous learning, evidence-based practice, and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards in oncology care.
