*WE ARE HIRING | PROFICIENCY TESTING (PT) SCIENTIST*

FARE Labs Pvt. Ltd., a leading Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) organization, is looking for a competent and motivated professional to join our Proficiency Testing (PT) team at Gurugram.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Plan, coordinate and execute Proficiency Testing (PT) programmes in accordance with ISO/IEC 17043 and applicable NABL requirements.

* Coordinate with participating laboratories for PT sample distribution, result submission and technical communication.

* Develop and maintain PT schemes, including preparation/selection of suitable PT items.

* Coordinate homogeneity and stability studies of PT items, wherever applicable.

* Compile, validate and statistically evaluate results received from participating laboratories.

* Calculate and interpret assigned values, standard deviation, z-scores, z′-scores and other relevant performance statistics.

* Prepare technically sound PT reports, certificates and participant feedback.

* Investigate outliers, unusual results, complaints and other technical issues.

* Maintain complete and traceable PT records, calculations and documentation.

* Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions and quality documents related to PT activities.

* Support NABL assessments, internal audits and accreditation-related activities.

* Coordinate with technical experts,



participating laboratories and other stakeholders.

* Contribute to development of new PT schemes in areas such as food, chemical, environmental, microbiological, biological, materials testing and calibration.

*Qualification & Experience*

*Essential:*

* M.Sc./M.Tech./equivalent qualification in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Food Technology/Food Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Environmental Science, Physics, or relevant Science/Engineering discipline.

* 2–5 years of relevant experience in testing laboratories, quality assurance, proficiency testing or laboratory accreditation activities.

*Desirable:*

* Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17043 and ISO/IEC 17025.

* Familiarity with NABL accreditation requirements.

* Knowledge of statistical evaluation of PT results and laboratory data analysis.

* Valuable proficiency in MS Excel and statistical tools/software.

* Experience in preparation of technical reports and quality documentation.

* Experience in a NABL-accredited laboratory or PT provider will be an advantage.
