A reputed automobile service centre is looking for experienced Automobile Technicians to join its workshop team in Kandivali and Goregaon, Mumbai.

The technician will be responsible for vehicle inspection, diagnosis, servicing, maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical issues in passenger cars.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical and technical issues.
- Diagnose vehicle problems using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Carry out regular servicing, maintenance and repair work.
- Perform engine, brake, suspension, steering and transmission-related repairs.
- Identify and troubleshoot electrical and electronic faults.
- Follow manufacturer and workshop service procedures.
- Complete assigned repair jobs within the given timeline.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors and workshop supervisors.
- Conduct quality checks after completing repair work.
- Ensure proper handling of tools, equipment and vehicles.




- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the workshop.
- Record repair details and update job-related information as required.

Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as an Automobile Technician / Automotive Technician / Workshop Technician.
- Experience in passenger-car service centres or automobile dealerships preferred.
- Candidates with experience in Hyundai, Jaguar, Land Rover or other passenger-car brands may apply.
- Good knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to diagnose and repair vehicle issues independently.
- Knowledge of vehicle servicing, maintenance and troubleshooting.
- ITI, Diploma or technical qualification in Automobile / Mechanical / Motor Vehicle Trade preferred.
- Good teamwork, discipline and problem-solving skills.

Important: This role is for passenger-car service experience. Candidates with only two-wheeler, commercial vehicle, truck, bus, JCB or heavy-equipment experience may not be suitable.
