Role & responsibilities

- Discrepancy Reporting &
- Tracking

: Daily recording and monitoring of DEPS cases (Damage, Excess, Pilferage, and Shortage) using Transport Management Systems (TMS).

- Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Identify gaps in location-specific or customer-specific shipment handling and share RCA reports to prevent recurring issues with CAPA

- Case Closure &

- Action Plan

: Work closely with the operations department to ensure the timely closure of open DEPS cases and the recovery of lost or misplaced items with action plan

- Claims &

- Insurance Coordination

: Coordinate with insurance providers to settle claims promptly and issue Certificates of Facts (COF) to customers.

- Financial Reconciliation: Manage the working and closure of Credit Notes related to shipment discrepancies.





- Data Analysis &

- KPI Monitoring

: Publish periodic DEPS performance data and drive continuous improvement across defined goals and metrics like revenue protection.

Preferred candidate profile

- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of business models (B2B, B2C) and shipment types (FTL, PTL, Sundry).

- Technical Proficiency: Experience with logistics management software .

- Analytical Thinking: Solid problem-solving abilities to perform deep dives into key operational areas.

- Communication: Coordination skills to act as a bridge between the hub, destination, and head office.
