We are looking for a Senior Accountant Lease Accounting to join the Global Business Services team in Bengaluru. The role will be responsible for managing global lease accounting activities, month-end close, reconciliations, reporting, compliance, and lease accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage monthly, quarterly and annual lease accounting close activities.

- Apply US GAAP and local GAAP accounting requirements for lease transactions.

- Handle ASC 842 / Lease Accounting activities.

- Prepare and review lease journal entries, reconciliations and variance analysis.

- Manage lease accounting schedules, disclosures, commitments and maturity analysis.

- Review lease agreements and ensure accurate lease data in the CoStar lease management system.

- Work with Technical Accounting, FP&A;, Tax, P2P, Real Estate and Technology teams.

- Support SOX controls, statutory audits, US financial audits and SEC reporting.





- Identify and resolve accounting issues and reconciliation breaks.

- Support process improvements, automation and standardization initiatives.

Required Skills:

- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in Accounting / GL / Technical Accounting.

- Strong understanding of US GAAP.

- Hands-on experience in Lease Accounting / ASC 842 preferred.

- Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries and variance analysis.

- Strong Excel skills.

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA, CoStar, OneStream or BlackLine is preferred.

- Experience working with a US multinational / global accounting environment is preferred.

- Solid analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
