Position Overview

Accord Autocomp Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality systems and production standards across automotive sheet metal, press components, and precision fabrication operations. This position ensures compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO standards, drives root-cause issue resolution, and enforces continuous improvement across multi-plant facilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Quality Management Systems (QMS): Drive maintenance and compliance of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 quality systems across manufacturing lines.
- Automotive Core Tools: Lead advanced product quality planning (APQP), production part approval process (PPAP), FMEA, SPC, and MSA execution for new automotive parts and engineering changes.
- In-Process & Final Inspection: Establish inspection standard operating procedures for sheet metal pressing, welding assemblies, pipe fittings, and surface treatments.
- Problem-Solving & CAPA: Direct 8D problem-solving methodologies, 5-Why analysis, and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) to address internal non-conformances and OEM customer complaints.
- Supplier Quality Management: Perform supplier audits, evaluate incoming raw materials (mild steel, sheet coils, pipe clamps), and drive supplier quality improvement plans.




- Audit & Customer Liaison: Represent the company during customer quality audits, third-party certification audits, and monthly OEM quality reviews.
- Waste & Cost Reduction: Implement Six Sigma, Lean, and 5S techniques to reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), scrap rates, and rework.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and train QA/QC engineers, technicians, and inspection operators.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Customer PPM: Maintain zero-defect delivery and meet OEM target PPMs.
- Scrap & Rework Reduction: Lower internal non-conformance costs and scrap percentages.
- Audit Score Compliance: 100% compliance on internal and external IATF 16949 audits.
- CAPA Resolution Time: Rapid closure and verification of 8D corrective actions.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical.
- Experience: 10 –12 years of hands-on quality management experience in automotive manufacturing, specifically in press components and sheet metal fabrication.
- Certifications: Certified Internal Auditor for IATF 16949; Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, GD&T;, CMM measurement systems, and gauge calibration.
- Soft Skills: Solid leadership, analytical problem-solving, vendor management, and cross-functional communication abilities.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
