About the Role

PROTEC is looking for a hands-on Manager Plant Administration & Infrastructure to take ownership of plant administration, infrastructure, employee facilities, safety and facility services. The role requires strong execution, vendor management and the ability to ensure a safe, clean, disciplined and well-maintained plant.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage overall Plant Administration Safety & Facility Management.

- Take ownership of plant infrastructure maintenance – civil, electrical, plumbing, buildings, roads, drainage, lighting, toilets and common facilities.

- Plan and monitor preventive & corrective maintenance of infrastructure and facilities.

- Coordinate civil/electrical/plumbing contractors and infrastructure improvement projects.

- Ensure awareness, compliance and implementation of plant safety norms and safe work practices across administrative and facility activities.

- Coordinate with the department team to identify unsafe conditions, hazards and risks and ensure timely corrective actions.

- Ensure safety standards for employees, contractors, housekeeping, security, transport, infrastructure and facility-related activities.

- Support safety audits, emergency preparedness, fire safety and implementation of corrective/preventive actions.

- Manage security, gate control, CCTV, visitor & vehicle management.

- Manage housekeeping, 5S, cleanliness and workplace discipline.

- Manage canteen, employee welfare facilities, transport and accommodation/quarters.

- Handle administration-related vendors, contractors, AMC and service contracts.

- Coordinate facility-related statutory requirements, inspections and audit closures.





- Prepare and control Admin & Infrastructure budgets and drive cost optimization.

- Prepare MIS / KPIs for infrastructure, safety, security, housekeeping, transport, canteen, accommodation and expenses.

- Work closely with HR,Production, Maintenance, Safety and other departments for smooth plant operations.

Candidate Profile

- Graduate; MBA / PG Diploma in HR / Admin / Facility Management preferred.

- 10–15 years of experience in Plant/Factory Administration, preferably in manufacturing.

- Strong hands-on experience in Infrastructure & Facility Maintenance & Safety.

- Experience working with Tier-1 / reputed manufacturing organizations will be preferred.

- Good awareness of industrial safety norms, safe work practices and safety compliance with demonstrated ability to implement them.

- Exposure to large-scale manufacturing plants and structured systems/processes will be an advantage.

- Good exposure to civil, electrical, plumbing and building maintenance coordination.

- Strong vendor, contractor and team management skills.

- Good knowledge of 5S, facility management, budgeting and MIS.

- Good computer skills with proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint and Email.

- Experience with ERP / HRMS / Facility Management software will be an advantage.

- Ability to prepare MIS, dashboards, reports and presentations using computer-based tools.
