HeaLink replaces traditional plastic school ID cards with smart health cards and facial recognition technology, improving access to medical information and enhancing security in educational settings. Role Description The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is a full-time, in office leadership role based in New Delhi, responsible for defining and executing HeaLink’s technology vision and roadmap. The CTO will oversee software and product development teams, guide system architecture decisions, and ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of health data platforms.

This role includes directing IT strategy, managing complex projects from concept to deployment, and collaborating with cross-functional leaders to align technology initiatives with regulatory requirements and business goals.



The CTO will mentor engineering leaders, establish best practices in development and operations, evaluate emerging technologies relevant to digital health and AI, and represent the technology function in strategic discussions with partners, regulators, and customers.

Qualifications

- Strong experience in Software Development and Product Development, including leading teams building secure, scalable platforms.
- Proficiency in IT Strategy and Technology Architecture, with the ability to design robust, interoperable health information systems.
- Demonstrated Project Management skills, overseeing multi-disciplinary technology initiatives from planning through implementation.
- Proven leadership in health tech or data-intensive domains, with a track record of delivering compliant and reliable solutions.
- Deep understanding of data privacy, information security, and regulatory frameworks relevant to healthcare and digital identity.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating across product, operations, and clinical teams.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience working with AI/ML, cloud infrastructure, and integration with national or large-scale digital health frameworks is highly beneficial.
