We are looking for a skilled Python Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications and services. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Python backend development, API development, database technologies, cloud platforms, and microservices architecture.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
- Build and maintain robust RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Develop microservices and distributed applications using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data access layers.
- Integrate backend services with internal and external applications, APIs, and third-party systems.
- Implement authentication, authorization, security, logging, monitoring, and error handling.
- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.
- Perform code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and production issues.
- Work closely with frontend developers, architects, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and product stakeholders.
- Participate in application design, technical discussions, and solution development.
- Develop automated unit and integration tests and support CI/CD pipelines.




- Contribute to cloud-native application development and deployment.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in Python backend development.
- Excellent knowledge of Python programming, OOP, data structures, and exception handling.
- Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Strong experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
- Valuable knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Redis, or similar technologies.
- Experience with Git and version control.
- Good understanding of Docker and containerized applications.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Experience working with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.

Good to Have

- Experience with Kafka or other messaging/event-streaming platforms.
- Knowledge of Celery, RabbitMQ, or asynchronous processing.
- Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures.
- Familiarity with Redis caching and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of authentication frameworks such as OAuth2, JWT, or OpenID Connect.
- Exposure to AI/ML service integration or LLM-based applications.
- Experience working with high-volume, distributed, and enterprise-scale applications.
