Role Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage core accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting, tax, and statutory requirements. The ideal candidate should possess robust knowledge of accounting principles, accounting standards, taxation, and financial controls, along with advanced Excel skills and the ability to handle large volumes of financial data efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions in the books of accounts.
- Handle core accounting functions including journal entries, ledger scrutiny, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
- Prepare, review, and maintain books of accounts in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), applicable accounting standards, and internal financial policies.
- Ensure proper accounting classification, documentation, and posting of expenses, revenue,



provisions, accruals, and adjustments.
- Perform periodic reconciliation of bank accounts, vendor accounts, customer accounts, and inter-company balances.
- Prepare financial statements, schedules, MIS reports, and management reports as required by the management.
- Handle large volumes of accounting and transactional data with accuracy, consistency, and strong analytical control.
- Ensure compliance with TDS provisions, including deduction, deposit, reconciliation, return filing, and issuance of TDS certificates within prescribed timelines.
- Ensure compliance with GST provisions, including accounting of GST transactions, reconciliation of input tax credit, preparation/review of GST returns, and coordination for statutory filings.
