About the opportunity

A private single-family office is seeking a Family Personal Assistant in Bangalore to provide high-touch, anticipatory and discreet personal support to an internationally based private family when they are in India, along with ongoing remote assistance throughout the year.

The role also supports two to three extended family members in Bangalore with their day-to-day arrangements, household matters and other personal requirements. Supporting the family principals remains the top priority;
when they are not in residence, extended family support will make up more of the day-to-day.

This is the trusted point of coordination in India for all lifestyle, personal and on-ground matters. It calls for someone reliable, proactive and resourceful, with strong organisational discipline, a natural service mindset and excellent interpersonal skills.

Reports to: the Family Office’s India interface team

Location: Bangalore, India (onsite), with travel as required

Employment: Full-time, permanent

What you’ll do

Personal & lifestyle support for the family principals

- Support pre-arrival planning, coordinating with household staff and service providers so every home and on-ground requirement is fully met.

- Coordinate daily schedules during visits, including personal appointments and social outings, adapting plans promptly as requirements evolve.

- Manage medical appointments, wellness programmes and other personal wellbeing needs — scheduling, preparation, reports and follow-ups — with care and discretion throughout.

- Manage personal errands such as gifting, tailoring, shopping and other bespoke lifestyle needs, with attention to preferences and timely follow-through.

- Arrange all ground logistics and transport, coordinating with private chauffeurs,

mobilising additional drivers as required, and managing arrivals and departures with destination contacts.

- Plan and coordinate events, gatherings and social engagements end to end — invitations and RSVPs, venue and décor, catering and guest logistics — so each occasion is thoughtfully designed and seamlessly executed.

- Manage lifestyle memberships (clubs, services, subscriptions), ensuring renewals, access and utilisation.

- Support pre-departure planning with overseas support teams, and complete post-trip follow-ups.

- Provide remote coordination and follow-through between visits, ensuring consistency, continuity and preparedness.

Full-service support for extended family members

- Provide comprehensive assistance to extended family members, managing their day-to-day needs with reliability and discretion.

- Coordinate daily appointments, activities and ground logistics, ensuring seamless planning and timely follow-through.

- Support household operations, liaising with domestic staff on daily provisions, upkeep and ad hoc requirements.

- Oversee property care such as routine maintenance and ad hoc repairs — quality, timeliness, adherence to specification and compliance with local regulations.

- Provide pet-related support including veterinary appointments, grooming and replenishing supplies.

- Support occasional larger initiatives such as family celebrations, minor renovations,

house moves, and resource planning and recruitment.

- Maintain organised personal and household records — medical information, property maintenance logs, staff rosters, holiday records, loans and expenses — accurate and accessible.

Travel & visit coordination

- Plan and support domestic and international travel originating from India — flights, hotels, visas, ground transport and local experiences — for the family principals, extended family members and, where required, household staff.

- Provide on-ground coordination for visiting guests, ensuring their movements, logistics and local arrangements are managed seamlessly.

What we’re looking for

- 5–8 years’ experience in personal support, luxury concierge and hospitality management, or private households

- A demonstrated track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder environments with competing priorities

- High adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with the resilience and diplomacy to respond to shifting priorities and urgent family needs

- Impeccable integrity, professionalism and commitment to absolute discretion

- Warm, gracious and acutely hospitable, with a natural service orientation

- A resourceful problem-solver with a proven ability to anticipate needs and find solutions independently

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — English essential, Kannada and/or Hindi preferred

- Highly organised and detail-oriented, comfortable running several work streams at once

- Robust administrative and vendor management capabilities

- Willingness and ability to travel as required
