Role Description This is an on-site internship role for a Marketing and Sales Intern based in Srinagar. The intern will assist in executing marketing strategies, supporting sales activities, and engaging with customers to promote Halal Nation’s products and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market research, helping develop promotional campaigns, supporting the sales team with lead generation and follow-ups, and providing basic customer service.





The role also involves coordinating with internal teams to gather product information, preparing marketing materials, and participating in local outreach initiatives to build brand awareness. Interns will gain hands-on experience in both marketing and sales within a quick-growing, mission-driven food infrastructure company.

Qualifications
Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
Ability to perform Market Research and support Marketing Strategy development.
Interest in and aptitude for Sales activities, including lead generation and follow-up.
Basic understanding of digital and offline marketing channels is an advantage.
Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field preferred.
Valuable organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced on-site environment.
Comfort with using common productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations) for reporting and planning.
Motivation to learn, openness to feedback, and interest in the food, retail, or halal meat sector.
