We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst – Data with 12+ years of experience to support enterprise data, cloud, and business transformation initiatives. The role requires strong expertise in business analysis, data requirements, data modeling, data quality, KPI definition, stakeholder management, and requirements documentation, along with a solid understanding of the Microsoft Azure data ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex business needs into clear, actionable functional and data requirements. Strong experience with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Databricks, SQL, data pipelines, and modern data platforms is highly desirable.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities
- Act as a Business Systems Analyst supporting enterprise data and cloud initiatives.




- Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and data requirements.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, data requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Define requirements for Azure-based data platforms, including ADLS, Databricks, and related technologies.
- Collaborate with data engineers and architects to define data inputs, transformations, outputs, dependencies, and data flows.
- Support the design and evolution of data models across raw, curated, and consumption layers.
- Define data quality requirements, validation rules, business rules, metadata, lineage, and governance requirements.
- Establish clear definitions for KPIs, metrics, dashboards, and business reporting.
- Use SQL for data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and requirements clarification.
- Analyze business processes and data flows to identify gaps, dependencies, risks
