Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (SBI) and Sterling File Gateway (SFG) System Administrator responsible for installation, configuration, administration, upgrades, migrations, patching, cloud deployments, and production support of IBM Sterling environments.

This is NOT a Sterling developer role. The primary focus is platform administration, infrastructure management, cloud deployment, performance tuning, troubleshooting, upgrades, and operational support rather than mapping, EDI development, or business process development.

Primary Responsibilities

Platform Administration
- Install, configure, and administer IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and Sterling File Gateway environments.
- Manage multi-node clustered Sterling environments.
- Configure high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
- Perform workplace setup across Development, QA, UAT, and Production.

Cloud Deployments & Infrastructure
- Deploy and administer Sterling platforms in AWS, Azure, or hybrid cloud environments.




- Configure cloud networking, load balancers, storage, and security components required for Sterling.
- Support infrastructure modernization initiatives.

Upgrades, Migrations & Patching
- Lead Sterling version upgrades and migrations.
- Apply Fix Packs, Interim Fixes, and Security Patches.
- Perform platform migrations from on-premise to cloud.
- Create rollback and recovery plans for production deployments.
- Troubleshoot upgrade-related issues and system outages.

Linux / Unix System Administration
- Strong hands-on administration experience in:
- Red Hat Linux
- Unix/Linux environments
- Shell scripting and automation.
- System monitoring and performance tuning.
- Log analysis and troubleshooting.
- Process and service management.
- File system and storage administration.

Containerization & DevOps
- Deploy and support Sterling environments using:
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- OpenShift
- Automate deployments
