About the Role

/n

We're looking for a Chartered Accountant with 5+ years of experience in a B2C startup workplace to manage our core accounting operations bookkeeping, taxation, monthly closings, and reporting.

/n

Key Responsibilities

/n

/n
- Manage end-to-end bookkeeping and ensure accurate, timely maintenance of books of accounts
/n
- Handle direct and indirect taxation- GST, TDS, income tax filings, and compliance with statutory timelines
/n
- Drive the monthly financial closing process and ensure accuracy across all ledgers
/n
- Prepare financial statements in line with IFRS/Ind AS standards
/n
- Build and maintain general financial reporting- MIS, dashboards, and management reports
/n




- Support the preparation of investor-ready financial reports and data; assist leadership during investor and board meetings with clear, accurate financial information
/n
- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies
/n
- Help set up and improve financial processes, controls, and systems as the company scales
/n

Requirements

/n

/n
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
/n
- 5+ years of relevant experience, with prior exposure to a B2C startup strongly preferred
/n
- Solid working knowledge of bookkeeping, taxation (direct + indirect), monthly closing processes, IFRS/Ind AS, and financial reporting
/n
- Excellent communication skills and a polished, professional presence- this role will involve interfacing with investors and leadership
/n
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
/n
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
/n
