JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT :

Job Overview :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Junior Accountant to manage financial operations, ensure compliance with U.S. accounting standards, and support business decision-making through accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with accounting systems, tax compliance, and payroll processing for U.S.-based entities.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Perform bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations
Handle month-end and year-end closing processes
Prepare and maintain financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
Process payroll and ensure compliance with U.S. regulations using tools like ADP
Manage tax-related activities including preparation/support for filings with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS)
Prepare and file forms such as W-2, 1099, and assist with 941/940 filings
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure audit readiness
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Generate MIS reports and provide insights to management

Required Skills & Qualifications :
Experience : 1-2 years
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/CPA Inter preferred)
Strong understanding of US GAAP and U.S. accounting practices
Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)




Experience in payroll processing and U.S. tax compliance
Strong knowledge of AP/AR, reconciliations, and financial reporting
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills for working with U.S.-based clients/teams
Tally, GST
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with U.S.-based companies
Familiarity with multi-entity accounting
Exposure to audit processes
Knowledge of SaaS or consulting business accounting
